You look brilliant. Light flowery top, seasoned blue jeans, hair in a ponytail. I know you mean business, but you are casual and relaxed. We take in an outdoor market, parade and motorcycle show. Best first date ever! Walking around with you feels like this is not the first or last time.
With a push of a button the engine roars to life, I hear your excited giggle muffled by the helmet. You hold me tight as we take off and come into my back as I brake, norms of the first date shattered by the nature of it all.
“This is a fast way to get to know someone!” You say.
We haven’t even left the city limits, babe.
The whole time I was thinking of all my experience doing this, riding bikes, relationships, being in tune with my surroundings. The feeling of perfection was all around, and I felt so in tune with our environment, like living the best dream ever. Through this awareness and strength I was moved to protect and care for you with all my might.
Soon, back to the blacktop. It is brilliant, what we both have been waiting for. All four cylinders fire in perfect time, happy with the load, humming along with us and what we create. White lines spiral and weave. The road is deserted and the whole world opens up before us. Our conversations open up another new world buzzing with adventure. At the end of this trip, we are approaching 300 miles of blacktop and everything between.
“You are a hardcore woman,” I say.
Never before have I met a woman so delightful and dedicated. You are screaming with the most striking feminine fashion, yet stronger than many men with your spirit. The day turns to evening and we are still together and I feel a fire burning. After 7 years dreaming of you, you gave me 14 hours of the best first date ever. Thank you so much, Ms. Ramella. That was the best embrace ever.

I was amazed at how many people wanted to talk to you and catch up. How easy it was to talk about anything with you...and how I wanted more conversations and rides.
You move me.
